Chicago Residents

Chicago Residents must get a permit if the dumpster is being placed on the street or in an alley. If the dumpster is being placed on private property, i.e, a driveway or backyard, a permit is not needed. Chicago offers 2 options for permits: 3 day or 30 day permit.

• Cost for the 3 Day Permit is $100.
• Cost for the 30 Day Permit is $125.
